I had removal surgery in Busan today!

Hello, I also spent this whole time posting several times and leaving comments because I felt so frustrated, and I lived each day with all my nerves focused on my nose. Four years ago, I had a non-incisional surgery in Seoul using a 4 mm silicone L-shaped septal implant! At some point, the area between my eyebrows started to feel tight and the tip of my nose began to sting. Whenever I took antibiotics at the clinic, it would get better right away, but the doctor still said it would be best to remove it as soon as possible. The clinic I went to in Seoul told me there was nothing wrong and that I should not remove it, but at a general hospital in Busan they said it was better to remove it as soon as it hurt, so I decided to have surgery right away~~ The doctor who saw me was really different from other doctors and was so meticulous, and he listened to all my complaints. I wanted a full removal, but the doctor said removing only the silicone would not cause side effects, so I made the surgery appointment and had the operation today. The surgery cost was also much cheaper at the general hospital than at a private clinic, which made it feel more trustworthy. Since it was done under sleep anesthesia, I fasted for 8 hours and went there. As soon as I arrived, I changed clothes, got an IV, took photos, listened to the anesthesia explanation, and in about 30 minutes everything was ready and I was taken up to the operating room. Because it was a general hospital, the operating room was huge, and when I had procedures done at a private clinic, they just lined up beds in one room and the nurse directly gave the anesthesia injection. But here, when I arrived, a specialized surgical nurse was there, and even for anesthesia the anesthesiology doctor personally came and gave the injection I was so nervous that my blood pressure went up to 150, and after seeing that, the attending doctor told me not to worry, that it was a simple surgery and that they would make it look good. So I was able to relax and go into surgery. I even woke up during anesthesia in the middle and kept asking to see the silicone The surgery itself took less than 30 minutes from anesthesia, and removing it took maybe 10 minutes?? After the surgery, I came out and lay down with ice packs for about an hour. It hurt a little, but not that badly. I didn’t even have a splint or taping, and because it was non-incisional, there were no cut marks either My mom thought I had come out without having the surgery at all the first time she saw me come out. Right now there are still some scraped marks on the bridge of my nose.. I’m not sure yet how much swelling there is, but even though there are scraped marks, the side view is the same height as before surgery I’m honestly not even sure whether the silicone was really removed because it looks so similar If only they could just remove the scraped part in front too, but still, thinking about all the stress and suffering I’ve had until now, I feel so relieved and happy now that it’s been removed!! It doesn’t hurt at all, so after the surgery I’ve been walking around with my mom. Someone who doesn’t know would never guess I had surgery!! It’s been about five hours since surgery, and I can live my normal daily life as usual When I was extremely stressed about my nose before, this community was a huge help and comfort to me, so I want to help too!
