Early yesterday morning, after applying an ice pack, I looked in the mirror and saw that the tip of my nose had turned slightly pale and yellow like that.
I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep well and was trembling, so I called the hospital this morning.
They said,
A color change is one part of the nose healing process. It’s only like that because the tape is on and blood circulation isn’t good; there’s no major problem.
That’s what they told me.
Looking at it today, the color of my nose is still yellow, but it’s better than yesterday.
They said if it turns red or black, that would be a problem, but a color change like that is just a blood circulation issue, and once the tape is removed, it will return to normal.
When I lightly prick the skin on the tip of my nose with something slightly sharp, I feel a stinging sensation in some areas, but in other areas I don’t feel much.
When I asked why there’s partial numbness, they said it’s because I haven’t fully recovered yet. Could that really be true....
My nose has turned yellow and the tip of my nose feels a bit dull, but the hospital says it’s okay..........
I don’t think it’s bruising. I didn’t have any bruising even after surgery, and it also seems strange for bruising to suddenly appear after 5 days...
Looking at it today, the yellowish tone has faded a bit, so bruising wouldn’t disappear in just one day either...
