I thought I would go back to my original nose pretty much as it was, but maybe because I had surgery on it three times, it has become so much smaller and even lower than my original nose. I cried because I kept blaming myself, thinking why I had to touch a pretty nose and make my body and mind go through all this just to end up with this result.
For the last surgery I used donated rib cartilage, a very small amount of septal support, and silicone. This time there was no infection, but as the donated rib cartilage was absorbed and the nose shape changed and started to lift, I was going to remove everything, but they said it might become saddle nose and lift up, so I left the tiny bit of septal support in place, reconstructed only the tip with ear cartilage, and because the skin is so thin, they added donated dermis on top.
Anyway, the nose has become much lower, but the part where the silicone used to show has disappeared, and I really really like that Before, because my skin was thin, people said the silicone was visible, which stressed me out a lot. The nose I was happiest with was when I had filler before, so after recovery I plan to get filler again. I regret not removing the silicone sooner, why did I only take it out now? I want to get filler along the bridge as soon as possible.. I heard that if there was no infection, you can get filler soon, but is it okay even after about a month?
My original nose had no visible nostrils at all and the columella was plump, but now my nostrils are much more visible and my philtrum looks longer I hated a nose where the nostrils show, so I asked them to make the nostrils not visible, but maybe because it's still swollen... it looks a little like a snub nose. The clinic says it will come down 100%, but does it really come down?? Please, I hope it comes down just a little more.. My nostrils used to be round and symmetrical, but this time they are a bit uneven, and one side is slightly pulled up like it got pinched. I hate that part so much
Anyway, I was worried so much that for weeks before surgery I spent all day searching like crazy on a community.. Many people helped me too, and I hope this helps someone else as well, so I'll post another review later,
