Under-eye fat repositioning surgery itself felt unfamiliar to me, but my concern about my under-eyes kept growing day by day... At first I went just to look into it, but after the consultation I began to understand what condition my under-eyes were actually in, rather than only having a vague idea. What I was most curious about was recovery. Since it was already difficult to take a long leave, my biggest concern was whether I could return to work after surgery. I decided after learning that stitches would not need to be removed and that an anesthesiologist is permanently available at the hospital. I had it done at [Clinic A] by Dr. [Doctor A]! Of course there are individual differences, but personally I didn’t feel much discomfort. When I went to work, everyone wasn’t staring only at my under-eyes, and even when I looked in the mirror, it wasn’t severe enough to bother me much, so I think I went to work without any issue. I’m most satisfied that the thing makeup couldn’t cover has disappeared, and from the side it was smoothed evenly without looking lumpy—great. If the fat that pretends to be dark circles was stressing you out, even though you don’t really have dark circles, I highly recommend this surgery..
