I don't regret having the surgery, but since I spent so much money, I hoped the asymmetry would be completely improved... There is still some asymmetry left. Still, it isn't as repulsive as my face before surgery. Originally, the left side of my face was angular and large. The right side of my face had a receded chin and looked small. My head shape was quite distorted and my overall facial asymmetry was severe, so I didn't have huge expectations for after surgery, but one side of my jaw still bothers me. My occlusion is slightly off, so I plan to treat it with post-surgical orthodontic correction.
