I fractured and reduced the hump, then raised the drooping tip with donor costal cartilage and septal cartilage. They said ear cartilage might be used, but it was not needed, so the pain was mild. I was awake during surgery and could feel everything as it progressed... so I cannot have revision surgery here. The doctor was also rather indifferent, so I do not know whether everything I wanted was achieved. Since it was my first surgery, there were things I did not know either, but the doctor did not explain things in detail at the follow-up.
