Having a low nose had been a real concern for me for a long time. I became self-conscious about my profile every time I took photos, so after hesitating for several months, I had surgery at Clinic A.
My bridge was augmented with silicone, and the tip was raised with autologous costal cartilage. I was also stressed about having a short nose, but its length improved somewhat as the tip was raised. I had my columella corrected and brought down slightly as well.
Dr. A performed the surgery, and it turned out really well. Rather than changing my appearance dramatically in an obvious way, it feels naturally blended into my original face, which I like most.
The photos show me three months after surgery. Most of the swelling is gone, and it still seems to be settling little by little.
These days, the biggest change is that I no longer look at my nose first when I look in the mirror. I hope this helps anyone with similar concerns.
