Nose Surgery Reviews

A successful rhinoplasty revision at [Clinic A] — review

Because the silicone implant from my first surgery was not properly attached to the bone and even caused inflammation, I underwent revision rhinoplasty at [Clinic A] on September 1 after a referral from someone I know. Both the coordinator in charge and Dr. Park Chan-young were meticulous and kind. They honestly explained my facial structure and the areas that would be difficult to improve without pressuring me, which made me trust them. The surgery involved removing the silicone, lowering the nasal-tip point because its height made my nose look relatively upturned, and using X-plant to correct the difference in height between the nasal bridge and tip. Even when pus was discovered during surgery, the doctor handled it well, and despite it being a revision, I had much less swelling than after my first surgery. In the end, my former semi-curved nose was improved into a natural straight nose, and I am satisfied. I also feel confident enough that I no longer need to wear a mask. After surgery, they consistently managed the inflammation and monitored my recovery, and they thoroughly answered my questions, so I was extremely satisfied with the aftercare as well. The operating-room staff here communicated with each other very well and were extremely kind too, haha. For anyone considering revision surgery, I hope you choose a doctor who properly explains what can and cannot realistically be done instead of only visiting places with overly aggressive advertising.
