I had rhinoplasty twice, both with ear cartilage.. Each time, the tip dropped lower and a step developed on the bridge, so I had no choice but to undergo revision surgery. Hoping this would be the last time, I had revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage, and it’s been about three months now. My goal was a straight-to-semi-arched line with a nicely elevated, glamorous tip, and I like it even more than I expected. As the swelling in the side profile goes down, the straight-to-semi-arched line is naturally becoming more visible, and the stepped bridge has connected smoothly. The major swelling is gone and there seems to be only a little residual swelling left, but I can’t even imagine how much more satisfied I’ll be at six months..
