I visited because the clinic is famous for closed rhinoplasty. They harden autologous costal cartilage particles and use them like an implant (Envico). Unlike other plastic-surgery clinics that use cartilage particles, they use the cartilage itself for the tip and replace the silicone area along the bridge with this material. According to the consultant, Envico usually does not use donor rib cartilage, but the surgeon who consulted with me said Envico can also be done with donor rib cartilage if I do not want autologous rib cartilage (though there are limits on how high it can be raised). I liked that the doctor showed great confidence in the surgical results. They said they would provide three swelling-laser sessions and four scar-laser sessions as complimentary services. Overall I liked it, but compared with the implant-free closed surgery I expected, it seems like a fairly large surgery (?), so I am hesitating after paying only the deposit. They also said I would need to wear a splint. The pressure to pay the deposit was too intense, which was a drawback.
