Open Bite, Recessed Chin, and Underbite Combo Double Jaw Surgery Review

Hello. Because of maxillary protrusion, my mouth would not close properly, and I had an open bite, recessed chin, and underbite all together, so I had a lot of everyday discomfort. Also, because of my long chin and protruding mouth, people often misunderstood me as having a bad or cold impression.,, So I decided on double jaw surgery, and on December 16 last year I had double jaw surgery plus contouring x3(cheekbones, square jaw, front chin) at Y Oral and now it has been 3 months. To talk about the surgery, I did not have side effects that are commonly seen after surgery, such as nosebleeds or nerves taking a long time to recover. Right now, I am at the 3-month mark, and aside from a small circular area around the gums near my teeth and small circular areas around both cheekbones, my sensation has already mostly returned, so I am going about my daily life without discomfort. Chewing is also almost not a problem, so.. when I read reviews, I thought it said you need about 6 months before you can eat without worry, but maybe because I had no orthodontic correction?.. From 1 month after surgery, I could open my mouth about two fingers wide, and at 3 months I was eating everything without restriction, including nuts, vegetables, meat, and dried squid.I even ate Nuga crackers yesterday,, hehe. That said, the muscles around my lips still have not fully loosened, so my mouth does not close perfectly, but compared to before, the condition where my mouth showed severe dimple lines when closed, or where my upper teeth were all visible even when I was just sitting still, has improved a lot. Also, as my face got shorter and my mouth area became more organized, people around me gradually started saying I looked cuter, kinder, and prettier. Then I uploaded a selfie to social media, and my friends messaged me saying if I had lost weight and that I could even go on Singles' Inferno lol. It was both fun and nice to hear. I did not especially like taking photos before either, and correcting my jaw in every photo was too annoying, so I almost never took selfies.. But now that my original face has become so much smaller, if I take a photo with a face-shape correction app camera, it actually looks more unnatural, like an alien 👽 because it got so tiny lol. So when people say I look pretty even if I only add a skin filter and nothing else, I think, ah, this suffering was worth it. I am very satisfied with the surgery, and personally I think it would have been better if I had done it before getting married T_T Even though my face still has not fully lost all the swelling, the balance of my face right now is so good that I only regret the wedding photos I took before surgery without thinking,, hehe. As the facial swelling keeps going down, I am looking forward to what I will look like at the 6-month mark. In life, 3 months can feel short or long depending on the moment, and there were times when the swelling was severe and my face looked bumpy and I got anxious and thought, what if it stays like this? Still, as 3 months passed, it started to look more natural, and I found my sense of stability again. From now on, I want to work out with confidence, eat a balanced diet, and put more effort into taking better care of myself!!
