Honestly, I do not think there was a huge change. It was not that my mouth protruded; rather, my front teeth were tilted inward, so they covered all of my lower teeth, which is why I got orthodontic treatment. But now I have finished braces and am only wearing retainers, and I do not really remember how it used to be, but if my lower teeth used to be covered 90 percent, now it feels more like 70 percent? I do not know if it is just me, but subjectively I do not feel there has been a big change..
