The Small Joy of Cutting Food With My Front Teeth, 6-Month Review of Double-Jaw + Square Jaw + Chin Surgery

After worrying for a long time about asymmetry, an underbite, and malocclusion, it has already been 6 months since I had double-jaw surgery + square jaw surgery + chin surgery. What bothered me most was that I could not properly cut food with my front teeth when eating. Even ordinary meals were always uncomfortable, and it gradually became stressful. One of the reasons I decided to go through with surgery was the strong recommendation from my cousin, who had already had surgery first at Yangyundol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Seeing the recovery process and the changes up close gave me even more trust. The first 2 to 3 weeks after surgery were honestly very hard. There were moments when I wondered, because of the swelling and recovery, whether this was really the right choice, but as time passed I slowly returned to normal life, and now I think I truly made the right decision to have the surgery. The biggest change is functional. Foods that used to be difficult are now something I can naturally cut with my front teeth, and eating itself has become much more comfortable. These small changes raise your overall satisfaction with life more than you would expect. The external changes are also satisfying. People around me often ask if I lost weight, and they say my overall impression has become much softer and rounder than before. It does not feel like I changed too drastically; it feels naturally refined, which makes me even more satisfied.
