It's already been 7 months since I started jaw correction. At this visit, we did an X-ray and also checked the overall progress. Compared with when I first started orthodontic treatment, it was amazing to see the changes in my jaw line and teeth alignment. While looking at the X-ray, the surgeon checked my current movement status and bite, and said everything was progressing in the planned direction, so I felt relieved. It's not completely finished yet, but compared with before, it takes much less effort to keep my mouth closed, and my side profile feels like it's getting neater little by little. That said, wearing the braces still feels uncomfortable and stiff. Still, it's not as hard to get used to as it was at the beginning, so I think I'm accustomed to it to some extent now. I plan to keep taking good care of things for the remaining period.
