Review after removal of chin implant (silicone)

I’m not sure whether this belongs in the facial contour category. More than 20 years ago, I had surgery at a Gangnam plastic surgery clinic to put a silicone implant into my recessed chin. Over time it shifted to the left, so only the left side of my chin became protruded. In short, it became asymmetrical. Of course, it was the kind of asymmetry only I could really notice, but in photos my face as a whole looked uneven. It also started to bother me visually, and they said it could cause sensitivity in the teeth or erosion, so I said goodbye to the silicone that had been with me through my 20s and 30s. Now I feel like I can rest my chin more comfortably. I’m not really in favor of putting silicone into the body... I’m against it. I don’t really know how surgeries are done these days or what the techniques are like, but rather than that, I would save up a bit more money and get a more fundamental solution, like orthodontic treatment, even though I’d have to go back to a protruding mouth. It’s a bit disappointing. I’m trying to console myself with the thought that a recessed chin can have a youthful look. I’m considering whether to get liposuction and muscle suspension about a year from now. I’m waiting for the wound to heal and the swelling to go down. I had the implant removal surgery 3 days ago. It’s still taped, so I need more time to see whether it heals properly. I’m hoping the space left after something bulky was removed fills in well and recovers without inflammation. There’s no noticeable swelling, but I’m still keeping the tape on for the third day so the muscles can attach properly. I was told to remove it on the night of the 4th, so the tape is making me itchy. When I looked at the removed silicone, it was different from the silicone used these days: it was transparent, short in width, and about 9 mm high, so it was thick.
