One-Month Review of Jaw Surgery, Chosen Because of Bite Misalignment and Chewing Discomfort [Director Shin Hee-jin]

Hello, this is my one-month review. Time really passed quickly, and it has already been one month since the surgery. I had the operation done by Director Shin Hee-jin. After reading other patients' posts, I felt the results would be aesthetically and mentally natural, and that I would still be satisfied 5 or 10 years later, which is why I decided to go with the director. Right after the surgery, even breathing was difficult, and I had to sleep sitting up, surviving day by day on liquid food only. At that time I worried a lot about when I would be able to live comfortably again. But as time passed, my body recovered faster than I expected. The nosebleeds and nasal congestion disappeared naturally, and the feeling around my mouth gradually came back. At first I could barely open my mouth, which was frustrating, but after steadily doing mouth exercises, I can now fit about two fingers in. The swelling has gone down a lot. I think about 70 percent has subsided now, and although I still feel a bit swollen in the morning, it does not cause major discomfort in daily life. The facial contour has also started to show little by little, so I notice the changes every time I look in the mirror. I have also returned to work. I can speak much more now, but since I am still adjusting to wearing the wafer and the changed bite, my pronunciation sometimes feels awkward. Meals are still something I handle carefully, but they are much easier than before, and I can feel myself improving day by day.
