But I wanted to get my nose done so badly that after thinking it over, I finally made up my mind and went around to consult clinics this time, so I’m writing this in case it helps anyone.
- ㄹㅁㅊ / ㅁㅎㅈ Someone I know had surgery here, so I had put it on my list, but the doctor that acquaintance saw had moved elsewhere, so I consulted with the director ㅁㅎㅈ, who is said to be the most famous.
The manager was kind too, and the director was just okay? Since it was my first time going for a consultation, maybe because I couldn’t ask many questions, it wasn’t a very detailed consultation.
The items included were the nasal bridge (silicone) + tip (septum, ear cartilage), columella correction (length, angle, correction extension surgery), dorsal hump removal, and ear-post dermis. The cost was the event price (including photos) of 3.96 million won / including swelling and regenerative laser.
- ㅂㅌㅇ / ㅇㅈㅎ I decided based on reviews on the app about a YouTuber who had surgery here. First of all, the doctor here is extremely kind. He explained things in the most detail among the places I visited, and for the first time someone told me that since I have severe sinusitis, it would be better to treat it to some extent first before doing the surgery And since my septum is crooked, he didn’t separately mention functional nose surgery, and said he would fill the crookedness with an implant.
I couldn’t get a separate breakdown of the items here, so I can’t remember exactly, but it was a custom implant 3-3.5 mm, ear cartilage, septum, osteotomy, etc., and the event price (photo disclosure) was 5.17 million won. Aftercare included swelling and scar laser, and I was told AS is available for up to 2 years.
-ㅁㅎ / ㅇㅅㅎ I added this place to the list because it was recommended in the app and seemed to come up a lot. I ended up talking with the manager longer than with the director The director explained, with drawings, that my bridge is too low and if we raise it starting from the bridge, my nose would look longer, so we should raise it from below that instead. It felt like he had a preferred design? I want something slightly closer to a straight line, but looking at the reviews, there’s a strong slightly half-curved feel, so I’m still debating. They said I would need rib cartilage here, and the bridge, tip, custom implant 4 mm, septum or ear cartilage would be used. They also said the crookedness would be filled with an implant.
If using donor rib cartilage, the discounted price was 4 million won, and I was told it includes swelling injections and 1 year of AS.
- ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ / ㄱㅈㅇ I consulted here because the director was the one my acquaintance had gone to, and this was the second-longest consultation with a director He kept asking if I had any more questions.
At first, after looking at my nose, he said it was a difficult nose and honestly did not recommend nose surgery. If I still wanted it, he said it would really turn out natural, and even if I did it, it would only be raised by about 3 mm. And because it wouldn’t be raised much, he said it would be less likely to droop later, and I was told the estimate was 4.95 million won at the discounted price for septum, ear cartilage, ear-post dermis, osteotomy, and a custom implant.
I forgot to ask about aftercare and AS here, so I wasn’t given any information about that
-ㅁㅇㄷ / ㅇㅇㅌ I added this place because the review photos were my style, but the director consultation here was the worst.. It felt like he was just talking by himself rather than explaining things to me, and there was no detailed explanation The manager actually explained things in more detail.
And this was the first place where I was told about functional treatment: Rhinitis and deviation treatment, and then septum, ear cartilage, silicone, osteotomy, lowering the nostrils (donor rib cartilage may also be used if needed) I was told 4.90 million won (+ 700,000 won for donor rib cartilage).
AS was 1 year here too, and aftercare included swelling/regenerative laser, skin care, and scar-tissue injections, so it had the most care items.
But here, it felt like there was a bit of subtle pressure to pay a reservation deposit And they roughly drew it with Photoshop, but it turned out higher than I expected. When I asked, they said it was about 1 cm, but I wasn’t sure whether that design would suit my face.
So I’ve been going around and thinking about it, but I’m leaving out K-plus because they don’t have an anesthesiology specialist, and I included ㅁㅇㄷ because they mentioned the functional aspect, but I’m stuck because of the doctor consultation and the design, and I’m debating between ㅂㅌㅇ and ㅁㅎ. It’s so hard
