I went for a consultation on face and neck lift the day before yesterday. The hospital was smaller than I expected, but since they only do one surgery a day, it made sense. On a Naver community, I was told that when getting a lift consultation, bringing an old photo from before the sagging started would make the consultation easier, so I showed a photo and consulted with the director. The director didn’t have a way of speaking that felt especially kind or warm compared to other places, but during consultations at other hospitals I never heard the reasons for facial sagging, the principle behind lift surgery, and that a lift is not about designing a brand-new face but about returning to my old face before the sagging started. That was important to learn. I felt that he had researched and performed lifts for a long time, and I trusted him a lot. He also showed me before-and-after photos, and there were no cases that looked like flatfish or a toad, and my sideburns were preserved, which made me trust him even more. Overall, the consultation was satisfying, but since I also have foreign material inside that needs to be removed, the total cost gets expensive, so I’m thinking about it.
