A few weeks ago I went for a consultation for a facelift and neck lift~ Since I’d previously had thread and filler injections, they said the foreign material would need to be removed too. My neck wrinkles are severe congenital neck wrinkles, and my face also had a lot of sagging in the buccal fat and cheeks, so they said surgery would resolve those concerns. They said the dissection would be done widely down to the SMAS and then pulled vertically. When I consulted at other hospitals, most of them said fat grafting should be done too for better results, but at Noble Y they absolutely said not to do fat grafting. They said fat grafting isn’t necessary, and if you do it, the weight of the injected fat will make the SMAS sag again and droop, so absolutely not.. They said anyway, if you pull it up vertically, the hollowed areas will also smooth out naturally. The doctor didn’t feel especially kind, but I could clearly feel he had tremendous pride in the surgery he performs. They said they only operate on one person per day and that an anesthesiology specialist handles the anesthesia. Compared with the other places I’d consulted, I definitely understood why they’re a facelift specialist after this consultation.
