I came here after hearing they were good at revision surgery for contractured noses too. It had been 6 months since my autologous rib cartilage nose revision, and when I went for another revision, they said the autologous rib cartilage had shifted or something, but anyway they kept saying this and that while opposing raising the height more, and only recommended replacing the autologous rib cartilage. I wanted to raise the bridge from the glabella to the bridge of the nose and the tip a little at a time, but I was a bit skeptical that they were against raising the height a little while replacing the autologous rib cartilage. It didn’t seem right to take out the autologous rib cartilage again just to raise the glabella and bridge by about 1.3 mm. When I went for consultations elsewhere, no hospital said there was a problem with the autologous rib cartilage done 6 months ago, and two places suggested either leaving the autologous rib cartilage at the tip as is and only replacing or adding a silicone implant, or using ear cartilage if I wanted a bit more height at the tip. So I had doubts about the surgical plan that only replaced the autologous rib cartilage without changing the height and just raised the bridge by 1.3 mm. That’s why I passed.
