Doctor, I’m wondering whether the Korea University medical school textbook says the cause of septal necrosis is only inflammation! At the hospitals I consulted before, they explained the various possibilities and causes in detail, but the doctors who were all alumni of that hospital kept telling me, in a very definite way, that it was “almost always due to inflammation,” which left me a little taken aback. In particular, I also told them about the test result showing that it was not inflammation, but they asked whether I had even looked at the report with my own eyes, and I was disappointed that I could not get a more detailed explanation. Other hospitals gave me a much more specific explanation of my condition... I hope this helps those who need a reference, and I want to note that this is an opinion based on my personal experience. And as for the autologous costal cartilage plan for the nose bridge that they suggested, I personally decided to be more cautious because I’m worried about side effects.
