Anyone around me who says they’re going to get Nose Beam, I’d pack lunch and stop them. After Nose Beam, I ended up needing revision surgery just 6 months later. First of all, if you have a bulbous nose, please don’t do it. Nose Beam removes fat and ties up cartilage, and then you just end up with a pinched nose in no time. For the 2 months before the swelling went down, I was happy... because neither the pinched part nor the dent showed. But once the swelling went down, the pinching and denting were all exposed, and because my nose was originally short, they stretched it long with Megaderm, so it turned into a Pinocchio nose. If the surgery is non-open from the start, it’s hard for the doctor to get a good view. In that state, they used a laser to remove the fat from my nose. But they removed too much on one side, so that nostril developed a dent, and the nostril opening got a pinched mark. Even after revision surgery at another hospital, some of the pinched mark is still left. Still, I’m glad the revision went well. Before the revision, my family sighed every time they looked at my nose and felt sorry for me, and my mom kept asking why I had to spend money to create a flaw when she had given birth to me beautifully. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t have severe appearance anxiety and is pretty easygoing, so I managed to endure it for 4 months before getting revision surgery, but if someone with severe appearance anxiety or a sensitive personality had gone through the same thing, I think they would have fallen into depression much earlier. Please find a hospital that does open surgery safely and well, even if you end up with a scar!
