It has been a long time since I had double eyelid surgery here, and personally I cannot recommend it. I wish I had looked into it more. They cut me wrong with the blade, so a straight line scar formed on one eyelid line, and then they even cauterized it, so the skin healed lumpy and left a scar. When I look downward with my eyes, it feels unnatural and awkward. The eyes from the first surgery were uneven too, but they corrected them with a revision surgery. Fat repositioning did tidy up the bumpy line to some extent. I think the aftercare is good.
