I had a revision consultation and they even recommended fat grafting, but the case discussion and consultation felt lacking in professionalism. More than anything, when I asked whether fat ‘removal’ was necessary, the doctor got very annoyed and said, “Is it right for the patient to discuss the surgical method with the doctor?” He got so offended it was like he had a problem with fat removal before. Of course, it may be something that can only be decided after opening it up, but I learned that from another clinic where the doctor answered that way. For a patient with under-eye fat concerns where whether to remove fat is important, I was suspicious of the doctor’s qualifications and personality and felt really upset…
