It's been a really long time, about 5 years ago, but back then I had surgery with an incision method, and unlike the typical lower bulge under the double eyelid line from incision surgery, there wasn't that bulging at the bottom. One side had a little scar, but the other side had almost no scar at all to the point where I wondered if that was even possible. The downside is that, because it was more like a buried-suture style surgery, it loosens easily. It's still holding for me, but one side's fixation has loosened a bit. I understand the doctor offers it free for 3 to 4 years. Even when I had revision surgery, there was absolutely no negative reaction, and all the managers were very kind, but the clinic has moved, so I don't know how it is now. A few of my friends had loosening and got revision surgery, but after revision, it stayed in place well and they're doing fine.
