Because of accessibility, I had only been going to the Sinnonhyeon/Gangnam area, but since I wasn’t confident, I went to Apgujeong for a consultation. I had been going around for a consultation about visible nasal cartilage at the tip of my nose, and out of the 8 places I visited, this was the only one that said it wasn’t urgent surgery and asked whether I really needed to do it, telling me to consider it more and think it over. Just like the reviews said, the doctor’s style itself is very chic. He consulted while writing detailed handwritten notes directly on the chart, and I thought that was impressive. He was the only one who mentioned removing the nasal tip cartilage without an open approach, and the price was also lower than the clinics in the Sinnonhyeon/Gangnam area. If the nasal tip cartilage is removed, he explained that the tip will sag and look like a drooping nose, and that during the settling process there is a possibility of nasal tip retraction, visible nostrils, or the nose looking even more drooped. Hearing that... I’m even more torn. If I’m considering removal, he also explained revision surgery methods.. but he left all the decisions to me. He said that for revision nose surgery, the patient’s needs are the most important because it depends on how much you want to solve the problem.. That just made me think even more. Still, I was satisfied with the consultation because I had thought through my questions in advance, asked them one by one, and heard clear explanations. Consultation fee: 10,000 won. There is no dermatologic post-procedure AS.
