They examined my nose by touching it once and conducted the consultation based on what the patient said. When I asked questions like how thick the silicone was or whether the bone had been cut, they didn't answer, maybe because they didn't know for sure. I think they probably didn't answer because they really didn't know. Because they didn't look at a CT scan or ultrasound, the accuracy was lacking and they couldn't give definitive answers to my questions. So when I said I was worried about changes in the tip of the nose or a step-off in the bridge, they showed me before-and-after patient photos and explained. They said that if a step-off occurs, they could reharvest ear cartilage and tie it during cartilage repositioning, but that didn't match what I wanted, so I put it on hold for now... It feels like they might be good at removal surgery, but I'm not sure...
