The doctor is definitely professional and also explains removal well, but when I asked about removing the silicone, he said the bridge could become flat and the tip could turn up like a pig nose. He said that if I didn't want that on the bridge, I would have to keep the silicone in. And he didn't say anything like, “I’ll make sure the tip does not become a pig nose,” so I panicked thinking, then would mine also end up like that if I removed the silicone? I checked the blog again later and saw that they do align the cartilage so it won't become a pig nose, but maybe he deliberately doesn't give a firm guarantee like “I’ll definitely keep it from turning into a pig nose.” He just explained case after case. I went somewhere else and they said my nose was tilted, but I don't know whether the doctor noticed it and didn't mention it because it wasn't a big issue, or whether he didn't notice it... My silicone is crooked, and the tip cartilages feel pressed and pulled. It sometimes hurts when irritated, so I went urgently to look into revision surgery. But he said it didn't look urgent right away and that it seemed like I could do it when a problem actually happens, lol. I wondered, isn't it too late if you wait until a problem happens? lol. Then he showed me photos of silicone that had broken through toward the nostrils, and I thought maybe they should be telling people to do it quickly before it gets to that point lol They said removal can be done safely, so I'm thinking about removing the Medpor and silicone from the tip and maybe just replacing the bridge silicone. But I'm worried whether the bridge shape will be made nicely, and I'm also bothered by the reviews saying they keep people under full sedation until the end of the surgery.
