I went at the beginning of this year with huge expectations after reading the director’s blog and posts on the Q&A board, aiming for osteotomy restoration and nose revision surgery, but he showed absolutely no empathy or understanding of my needs and didn’t properly look at my face or nose at all. There was no palpation either. The consultation attitude was so awkward and embarrassing for me. And... starting from Naver’s Q&A board, he kept saying that osteotomy restoration absolutely has to be done with spreader grafting... If it hadn’t been the hospital where I got my revision this time, I would have believed the director and gone to the wrong place, almost getting spreader grafting surgery I didn’t even need. There seem to be several different approaches to osteotomy restoration depending on the patient’s condition, but it seems he doesn’t know much about osteotomy restoration. I had successful osteotomy restoration this time at another revision-specialized hospital without spreader grafting. (For reference, it is not the ENT specialist hospital that comes up when you search osteotomy restoration.) From the examination onward, the consultation quality was different. Still, thanks to being refused surgery, I was really able to find a true expert, and I succeeded in the revision without spreader grafting, so now I’m finally living a human life again (it’ll be two months soon and I’m doing fine). Thank you again so much for refusing the surgery. Thanks to that, my revision was a success. As I wrote above, because the doctor refused the surgery, I couldn’t get a price consultation. I didn’t know what to do, so I asked directly and was told by this community’s staff to write the estimate at the base price in this case, so I entered 300.
