I went there through a recommendation from an acquaintance. Honestly, the director is not particularly friendly. But my thought is, what good is it if a doctor is friendly and gentle? As long as they are not rude and are skilled, that’s enough. I’ve been getting Botox regularly about every six months, and this is the first clinic that applied numbing cream for a Botox procedure. But after getting it, I think I understand why. Unlike other clinics I’ve been to before, they inject very deeply, so it hurts quite a bit. To compare it, it feels like getting filler even though it’s Botox. Heh. (Those who have had it know that filler hurts more than Botox, which is why other clinics usually do Botox with just an ice pack, and fillers with numbing cream or local anesthesia.) And both during the consultation and the procedure, I felt that it definitely has to be a specialist. Even for something as simple as Botox, the skill of placing it carefully is completely different. The places I went to before were not specialists..ㅠ.ㅠ (If you want to find a specialist, just search for the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons online. For dermatology, search for the Korean Dermatological Association.) It is not too far from home, but the transportation is complicated, so it is a bit inconvenient to keep going, but I still thought it was a trustworthy clinic. I only get it twice a year anyway, so I plan to keep going here.
