Inflammation developed in my existing nose, which made me interested in a no-implant approach. I honestly considered it my last surgery and vowed never to do it again, but then inflammation suddenly developed in my nose, and I became interested in building the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage. This surgical method is not common and did not have good reviews, so I deliberated a lot. But when the doctor said that my nose could definitely have an inflammatory reaction if silicone were used, I decided to have surgery. I am satisfied with the shape of my nose, but my columella is crooked, which made my nostrils uneven. The doctor says it is because my nostril wings differ in size. I am living satisfied with it for now, but I plan to finish up by having alar lift surgery at another clinic. Still, I am satisfied with my nasal bridge.
