After having both medial and lateral canthoplasty, they were opened too much on both sides, so the thing that stressed me most was looking overly surgically altered. I developed lagophthalmos, where my eyes would not close properly, so if early restoration were possible, I definitely wanted to do it. I consulted a specialist clinic. While explaining the situation to the surgeon, I asked whether restoration was possible even though it had only been two months since the canthoplasty. Thankfully, they said it was.
