I had philtrum reduction 11 years ago, and I went for a consultation because the scar was bothering me. My philtrum is short, but as the cheeks sag with time, an S-shaped wrinkle forms under the nose. They said it was because when I had the nostril-lift surgery 7 years ago, they did not fix the inside properly. They said revision surgery is possible, but I did not decide on surgery because I was worried that if my philtrum became shorter, the wrinkle under my nose would get worse.
