Right after the surgery, the splint was already tilted a little to one side, so I was worried, and sure enough, when the splint came off, the bridge of my nose was tilted to one side too. I hadn’t even brought up costal cartilage warping before, and after surgery it ended up like this, so how on earth am I supposed to deal with it.. Before surgery they even made me sign something saying they charge 1 million won for after-service, anesthesia fees, and so on. The surgery was already expensive, and now on top of being upset that it went wrong, I’d have to go through all that suffering again, waste time, and pay even more money. It’s really upsetting. A place that doesn’t live up to its reputation or its price. The consultation manager seemed cold and uncaring. She even kept advertising on the monitor that she had her own surgery done there, but during the consultation she cut out the insurance part, and when I went in for follow-up care she didn’t even recognize me once. Even though I had booked my surgery date through her, she never once asked whether the surgery went well. So cold.. I trusted the doctor because a friend referred me, but in my case I now need revision surgery. Still, the one good thing was that the nurses in the operating room were kind and humane, and the warm words they said before anesthesia were truly appreciated.
