I was torn between two places in the end, so I went for two consultations~ At the first consultation, honestly, I was won over more by the manager than by the doctor, and I thought it seemed like a decent place! The manager was overflowing with pride in the doctor, so I felt confident~ But at the second consultation, I was a little upset by the manager's attitude.. I've always worried a lot, so after putting off surgery for 10 years and finally deciding to really do it, I had a lot of concerns about side effects, aftercare, AS, etc., so when I asked about all kinds of things, it felt like they were scolding me for worrying about things that hadn't even happened yet. I asked what they would do if side effects appeared before the surgery, what counts as a side effect and what counts as just a change of mind, and things like that. Since I don't know much about this area, maybe I was frustrating them or something;; I already had a date in mind, so I was feeling that the surgery date was really right around the corner, and I was a bit sensitive and cautious, and I wanted to get certainty and trust, but after asking all kinds of things, that second consultation felt like a minus for me~ In the end, I had it done somewhere else.
