I had Megaderm costal cartilage fixation for the purpose of correcting a bulbous nose. I was satisfied for 1 year, but after that the tip of my nose got even bigger. Later, the revision surgery cost went up, and every doctor I consulted said, "You have a bulbous nose, so why did they put Megaderm on it?" They said the doctor had no conscience. If you are someone whose nose is not bulbous and whose nasal bridge is already high, but you only want the tip of the nose to be higher, this surgery suits you well, but if you have a bulbous nose, I absolutely would not recommend it. I am only going to do more in-person consultations elsewhere.
