After consulting with The Face first, I went to I&Co for the second consultation. I&Co is also a place where the older sister of an acquaintance at my company had surgery, and after surgery she was very satisfied and it turned out beautifully, so I went in with high expectations. There is no elevator to the second floor; the desk, consultation room, and photo area are on the second floor, and if you go up to the third floor there is some kind of aftercare room. I saw people on the second floor going up the stairs, probably to that room. The wait was somewhat long, about 10 to 20 minutes. The director came down the stairs and came to the second floor. I entered the consultation room, but the director looked very tired and unmotivated, maybe because he had just finished surgery or something, I’m not sure. He explained things by drawing on paper and sketching the nose shape, but his voice was so quiet that I could not hear him properly and had to focus hard. He said I didn’t need much silicone and that he would use 3.5 mm silicone, shave down the hump, and do osteotomy as well, and for the tip he would choose either ear cartilage or septal cartilage. He said that would be decided after opening the nose during surgery. Since he looked exhausted, I didn’t ask many questions and quickly finished; the consultation probably took only 3 to 4 minutes. I asked about functional nose surgery too, but he said he would need to look at photos to know, and then didn’t even suggest taking them. So that was the end of the consultation, and then I consulted with the manager. The manager, who was older than the one at The Face, explained various things, talking as if she knew a lot and was very professional. She said it would be 3 million, but if paying cash she would make it 2.7 million. Anyway, there were many people at I&Co. The Face didn’t even say they would shave the hump and also said they would not do osteotomy, so the surgery methods were different and I got confused about which one was right.
