I went in only for a consultation about revision eye surgery and came out after discussing my entire face. The doctor did not bring up the face himself; while I was hearing the explanation about my eyes, I ended up asking almost absentmindedly about contouring. The doctor seems like he has staked his life on this. He has very firm ideas about the beauty he pursues. That also means he has a lot of confidence. He has a lot to say. Instead of going through a manager, you go straight to the doctor, and it felt like I listened to a lecture for an hour. I actually found the consultation kind of fun. The doctor’s office feels like a science lab; in a good way, he seems like a mad scientist. He rummages through stacked charts in a hurry and pulls before-and-after photos out of a photo album to show you, and it is genuinely impressive. I think I get why the price is high.. The photos show a dramatic transformation, yet it is surprisingly natural. He has aesthetic sense too, so he evaluates based on facial harmony, but because what he pursues is so clear, it also feels a bit like being fitted into that mold. It’s a gamble, but even if people may like it or dislike it, I feel like it probably won’t fail. Worth getting a consultation at least once.
