The feeling the doctor aims for is very clear. I do agree somewhat with the word "aesthetic" in that this is not a doctor who just wants to draw a line on the eyes, but because the feeling they pursue seems different from mine, I felt myself moving away during the consultation. Among the before-and-after photos shown, there were people who looked like their life must have changed, and others whose before looked better (already fine, but -> looks too surgically done, bright, sparkly eyes). I expected some almost supernatural aesthetic judgment and comments on my face, but other than the area I was worried about in the consultation, there wasn't much else said, and it just seemed like the routine was to show revision patients' charts and old before-and-after photos. No matter what kind of eyes you bring in, I don't think they'd say the eye shape needs to change. To me, the eye shape they want seems like a half-moon shape, wide-open puppy eyes, and a plump under-eye area. If the doctor likes the eye shape they want, it matches their taste, and if someone wants a 4-5 hour operation that turns them into someone completely different, this hospital would probably suit them well. The doctor took a photo of my eyes with their phone camera And they kept touching my face hard and abruptly without warning, which was really awkward. The consultation manager only explained the cost and was very, very kind.
