See the review below for the 2-month update ------------------------- It has been 1 month since my repeat nose revision surgery It seems like the major swelling has gone down to some extent The swelling right after surgery was huge They removed the implant during the revision surgery, but it didn’t seem to have been done well and the scar tissue was severe, so removing it was very painful Right after the surgery, the doctor said it was an extremely difficult surgery I think I asked something about the scar tissue or whether the surgery went well and he answered somewhat firmly While I was in the recovery room, the doctor came back and said the surgery went well and told me not to misunderstand what he had said earlier He emphasized that the surgery had gone well On day 1, day 3, day 4, day 7, day 10, and day 14 after that, I went to the hospital and the doctor handled all the treatment From the day the splint came off, instead of feeling like the nose was bent, it felt more like the lower part of the nose was twisted? From below, it seems to look a bit like / I said the ear cartilage was showing through and that the nose seemed twisted, but maybe because of the swelling, he said to come back for a checkup after 6 months At 1 month now, the ear cartilage showing through seems to have gone down compared to before? The nose still looks twisted to the right The doctor said some people’s swelling only goes down after 1 year or 1.5 years and that we’d have to see then and consider another revision Since it’s only been 1 month, I think it could still be swelling I understand that the final result usually settles in around 6 months to 1 year, but if the nose is still twisted then, I plan to have another revision ------------------------- It has been 2 months, and to be honest I still don’t really know what changed from before the surgery I compared the photo I took at home the morning before surgery with the one I just took, and I still can’t tell..... The crooked-looking nose has improved a little compared to the 1-month mark, but it still looks crooked The nose is turned to the right I guess this might be unavoidable because my face is asymmetrical..... I still feel uneasy about it even at the final visit at 2 weeks When I went for treatment after surgery for the crooked nose, they could have checked it then, but when I told them two weeks later that my nose looked too crooked, they hurriedly ended the consultation and only told me to come back after 6 months.... Right after the splint came off, I said at home that my nose was crooked and had turned to the right..... I know it’s swelling too, but I wish they had told me first that the way my nose looks turned like this is because of swelling.... Or was the surgery done wrong.... sigh Before surgery, they seemed like they would solve everything, and they looked passionate and warm but at the 2-week visit they seemed to avoid me and felt cold. I’ll visit the hospital again after 6 months and post another review
