[First nose] Had surgery 3 years ago. - Septal extension - Donor rib cartilage - 3 mm silicone implant in the bridge
Over the past 3 years, as the residual swelling has gone down, I can feel a step-off between the bridge and the tip (nasal indentation). It is very noticeable when I touch it or look at it under lighting. The bridge bending has also gotten worse (though my original nose was already crooked, so I had kind of accepted that).
I searched like crazy on social media and saw that one plastic surgeon says they sometimes fill step-offs or crooked areas with something called [Replis] to smooth out the shape. I’m curious about people’s opinions. Has anyone tried filling the nose with Replis? I’m worried that if a foreign material goes into the nose, it might trigger a reaction against the silicone and make contracture even worse
