When I first had nose surgery, they used all the ear cartilage from behind both ears.. Because the middle part of my nose became sunken, during the second surgery for aftercare correction, they used cartilage from inside my ear. So now I don’t have any spare ear cartilage left, but I’ve started wanting revision surgery For my first surgery, they only used septal cartilage + ear cartilage, so maybe that’s why my nasal tip has completely dropped, 2 years post-op. For revision surgery, what material should I use so it won’t droop? For a crooked nose, I’d need silicone, right..? If I had used silicone + costal cartilage for my first surgery, would it not have drooped.. Are side effects common with donated costal cartilage?? Everyone who has had revision surgery, please comment-!!
