Short Nose Surgery Review

My nose was short and also had a slightly bulbous feel, and before surgery I searched around online. Since I live outside Seoul, I looked into and consulted at exactly two places. I absolutely did not want revision surgery, so from the start I thought I should raise it dramatically.

The first place I went to specialized in short noses and contracted noses, only did noses, and said they could raise it dramatically, but the price was high and negotiation was impossible. The second place absolutely prioritized safety and a natural look, and they also pinpointed the parts I thought were drawbacks, but they said raising it dramatically was not possible.

Because I really wanted it raised dramatically, I chose the place that would raise it a lot, even though it was expensive and I had to accept the risks.

For the first week after surgery, I could barely breathe through my nose and suffered so badly that I regretted it, but I kept hoping it would turn out pretty and thought I could never do this twice. But now it’s day 15 after removing the splint, and I regret it so muchㅜㅜㅜ They say it’s because of swelling, but it was raised too much, so the nose itself looks huge, and from the front it looks like a bulbous nose... They raised it while lowering the nasal tip, so the nose itself is pretty, but my eyes are all pulled tight, the red flesh in front is all showing, and all the skin on my face feels pulledㅜㅜㅜ It doesn’t harmonize with my face at all, and my impression has changed so much that I seriously regret it. I don’t know if my face will go back. I honestly want to take everything out...ㅜㅜㅜ My original nose was also a small nose, but lately a straight-with-slight-curve nose looked so pretty to me, so I did it, and now I feel like it was way too much... My nose was already a bit asymmetrical, and they said that couldn’t be improved. It’s still asymmetrical after surgery too, but I don’t have a big complaint about that. But seriously, looking like I have a giant nose and my eyes being pulled into a ridiculous hook shape is something I can’t get used to every time I look in the mirror, and it’s upsetting...

Everyone, before getting nose surgery, try running a simulation or really choose a hospital that will give you a nose that suits youㅜㅜ I’m going to watch the swelling go down, and if it really doesn’t work, I’ll get removal surgeryㅜㅜ
