Hospital name: Chiyu Plastic Surgery Doctor name: Park Yu-gil Consultation manager name: I don't remember Consultation fee: 10,000 won (additional 20,000 won for CT scan)
I went to more than 10 places for consultations, and this was the most disappointing among them. It was too commercial.
1. First of all, the prices shown on the apps are bait prices. Those are the prices for a closed approach (although the event post says things like bulbous nose, hump nose, etc. at the top, that is bait)
2. So if you have surgery with an open approach, the additional fee starts from +1,000,000 won first. (If you don't do nose surgery with an open approach, what exactly are you operating with?ㅎㅎ This is really just wordplay)
3. If you use septal cartilage, another additional fee of +1,000,000 won is addedㅋㅋㅋㅋ (The septum is the most basic material in rhinoplasty, and they charge extra for thisㅋ This is seriously the first hospital I've seen that charges extra for septal cartilage.)
4. If you use ear cartilage, another additional fee is added tooㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
They just attach every possible additional fee for this and that. The consultation manager had zero expertise. They got into a power struggle with the patient. They pressured me to get a CT scan. (Seems like it was to charge the extra 20,000 won) The director also changed what he said every 3 minutes. My nose is not one that lacks a bridge, so at more than 7 places so far I was told not to touch the nasal bridge. But this place kept steering me toward costal cartilage. Unless it is absolutely necessary to make an incision in a woman's body, I think it is definitely not something that should be recommended lightly. Could he recommend it that easily to his own daughter or wife.. When I said I was unsure, he criticized my attitude. I very strongly felt that they saw patients as money. They only decorated the clinic's atmosphere flashily, but there was very little substance. It was the most disappointing clinic among all the clinics I've been to so far. Even after reading this post, if you still have surgery here, it is naturally your own responsibility to bear the results as well. For plastic surgery, liking the immediate shape is secondary; I think success means living well 10 years later without side effects. When money becomes the top priority, safety inevitably gets pushed back, which is only human nature.. bitterㅜ
