I had surgery in January this year. My bulbous nose was pretty severe, so among my friends I used to be jokingly called “fat nose, fat nose,” but as I got older year by year, I started hating hearing it lol I wanted to properly fix my bulbous nose, so I went around for consultations last year. People say once you touch your nose, there are a lot of revision surgeries, so I wanted to look into it properly and went to consultations at several places. Then I met the director lol I had heard he had a lot of experience, and maybe because of that, he spoke confidently throughout the consultation, so I trusted him. Other than the consultation time being a bit short...? Still, if he had only been confident, I would have felt a bit unsure, but while shaping my nose, he pointed things out clearly, like “this would look strange” and “it needs to be done this way for the line to look smooth and for the bulbous nose to become slim and well-defined,” you know? So after thinking about it for a bit, I had surgery in January this year, and now it’s already May lol Oh, for the materials, I raised the bridge with silicone and used ear cartilage for the nasal tip. When I take photos or look in the mirror, it definitely feels like the bulbous nose has been corrected. When I look at photos from before, I wonder how I lived like that lol It hasn’t been a year yet, so I’ll have to keep watching it a bit more, but since the AS period is 2 years, I’m going to keep an eye on it a little longer.
