- Review: I’m seriously super satisfied right now - Contracture phase: I don’t even know if it has come yet; I still don’t know whether it hasn’t come or already did (about a week ago, my nose was hard for 2-3 days... maybe that was it..)- Anti-contracture medication: I was prescribed 3 months’ worth and am taking it (though there have been a few days I forgot and didn’t take it)- Why I’m super satisfied: People around me say I look much more natural and younger now, and that my eyes look prettier too! (I didn’t touch my eyes, but I think it’s because my high nose used to make my impression look strong)- It’s only been one month, so it’s hard to share the clinic!!!! I’ve occasionally seen cases where the nose collapses after 6 monthsㅠㅠㅠ I’ll come back again after 6 months Anyway, I’m so satisfied that I removed the whole thing, including taking out the entire support strut I almost only removed the cartilage and silicone while leaving the support strut in If I had done that, I think I would’ve ended up getting removal surgery twice in the end!!
** Tips for choosing a clinic 1. Go to as many in-person clinic consultations as possible / I don’t think just searching online here is that meaningful / If the clinic you want has a long wait for consultations, call from time to time and try to grab a canceled slot 2. The more clinic consultations you go to, the more mentally stressed you’ll inevitably get, but hold out and decide what direction you truly want -> And once you define your needs clearly, choose the clinic, among the ones you consulted with, where the doctor’s needs/opinion and your needs align the best : In my case, I was debating whether to remove the support strut, but I felt like if I removed things while leaving the support strut, I’d end up removing the support strut again not long after -> So I thought, even if it goes badly, let’s just do full removal. 3. Put together the opinions from the clinics you paid for consultations at : Each doctor may say something different, but there are shared opinions among them, and each also has differing opinions! That’s why it messes with your head, but you have to make use of it in your own way.. : For me, if Clinic A didn’t give me a definite answer on something + Clinics B and C spoke confidently about it? -> Then I just thought the BC opinion was right (In my case, I got really stressed over opinions on removing the support strut, but in the end, except for one place, the other 2-3 places said it was totally possible + with some slightly half-convinced opinions, so I just decided on support strut removal) Hmm, I wrote this because I couldn’t sleep, so it’s written in a stream-of-consciousness wayㅠㅠ If you’re curious about anything, leave a comment (except clinic info... please wait just 5 more months for that :/)
