Nose Re-Surgery

Improving Nostril Shape and Mucosal Exposure

First of all, I had my first rhinoplasty last year, but the results were bad both aesthetically and functionally~ On top of that, the incision was done in a way that is honestly so hard to understand that I feel like I’ll have to live with a scar on my face for the rest of my life. I mean, isn’t the reason people get plastic surgery because they want to improve their appearance and make it “better”? But I seriously can’t understand why on earth that doctor made the incision like that, and I’m so angry

Anyway... I’ve decided that what I can do now is probably removal to improve the shape and function at least (honestly, I can’t expect much for the function either), so I’m looking into it (if removal is difficult, I’m also considering revision surgery)...

Question!!!

The floor of the entrance(?) of one of my nostrils and the mucous membrane next to the columella are protruding..? I think it’s because of the costal cartilage inserted for septal extension or nasolabial angle correction, but as the mucous membrane protrudes, the mucosal exposure is severe. Even all my nose hairs are visible... Has anyone here had a similar situation and improved mucosal + nose hair exposure after removal?
