Nasal Tip Surgery Review

I decided to have surgery because my nose usually looked spread out, and I disliked how it felt even wider when I smiled. I was especially bothered by how, from the side, my nasal tip looked almost nonexistent and seemed to drop straight down. The consultant kindly explained everything one by one, and the director took a quick look and set the direction, saying, “I think this is how we should do it.” Overall, the atmosphere was comfortable, so I wasn’t too anxious. After surgery... honestly, it wasn’t easy. I had watched a lot of YouTube videos and thought lightly of it because it’s such a common surgery these days, but it was nothing like that. The first day was really so hard, and because of the cotton packing in my nose, I couldn’t breathe through my nose, so my mouth kept getting dry and my throat hurt too, so I couldn’t sleep properly. In the end, I slept sitting up... After the cotton was removed, it did get a little better, but about a week was still quite difficult. Still, strangely, there was almost no pain itself, and breathing was the most uncomfortable part. Also, because I couldn’t wash my face, getting skin breakouts was a bit stressful too. Still, the result... I’m really satisfied. My nasal tip has become exactly defined the way I wanted, and it doesn’t look spread out from the front either. My swelling wasn’t severe, so even at one week, I could go around looking fairly natural, and people around me have told me a lot that “it really turned out naturally and well,” so I’m even more satisfied. There were definitely hard moments, but these days, every time I look in the mirror, I understand that choice.
