9-Month Review of Male Rhinoplasty Without Implants (AB Plastic Surgery)

My nasal bridge wasn’t completely flat, so I felt quite hesitant about putting in silicone from the start. I was worried that if it was raised too much for no reason, it wouldn’t suit my face, and that my nose would look obviously operated on at first glance. So I looked into a lot of clinics and went to consultations at several places, focusing on a direction that would naturally preserve my existing nasal bridge, refine only the line, and create a masculine straight-line look. The surgery was done without implants, preserving my existing nasal bridge, and the design focused on making the overall line neat. They also adjusted the nasal tip so it would fall in a straight, masculine way without being excessive. At first, I did wonder whether I could be satisfied with this level of change, but now that I’m 9 months post-op, I actually feel this was a much better choice. As time passed, the swelling went down more and the line became gradually clearer, so the natural look feels like a really big advantage. Now, most of the major swelling is almost gone, and the nasal tip has become much softer than at first, so there is hardly any foreign-body sensation when I touch it. It also moves naturally without awkwardness when I smile or make facial expressions, and it feels like it has settled in as if it were truly my original nose.
