Autologous Costal Cartilage Rhinoplasty Review

After thinking about it for several years, I decided to have rhinoplasty. I wanted to get it done in one go, so I chose surgery using autologous costal cartilage and had the procedure with Director Kim Jin-woo at K-Plus. Before surgery, I had many worries, such as pain from the autologous costal cartilage, the shape of my nose, returning to daily life, and discomfort with breathing, but all of those concerns were resolved within a week. As for the autologous costal cartilage, maybe the surgery was done well, but honestly, I never really felt that it was painful. Until days 2-3, there was some discomfort, but after that, especially from one week onward, it barely hurt, so there was no problem at all with daily life. For the shape of my nose, my goal was to improve it as much as possible while keeping it within a natural range, and even though the swelling has not gone down yet, I think the frontal view turned out well enough that I am very satisfied with how it will look going forward. For daily life, I had expected it would take at least a month, but in fact, in less than a week, I was able to eat, take walks, and move around freely. As for breathing, my nose sometimes gets blocked, but after the cotton was removed, there were no problems. Above all, my nose came out well the way I wanted, and I am looking forward to seeing how it will look as more swelling goes down.
